Researching the Unknown

Welcome!

I am a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University researching on novel machine learning methods to combat COVID 19 where I will be jointly advised by Dr. Hima Lakkaraju and Dr. Marinka Zitnik. What inspires me to do what I do is the feeling of helping the community through my work! I currently research on developing machine learning models with a particular focus on fairness, robustness, and interpretability.

Before joining Harvard, I completed my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where I was jointly advised by Dr. Dan Schonfeld from the Multimedia Communication lab at UIC and Dr. Anh Nguyen from the Artifical Intelligence lab at Auburn University. My Ph.D. thesis examined the three pillars of Performance, Robustness, and Interpretability that, I believe, are necessary for deploying reliable Deep Neural Networks.
